This Refund Policy explains how cancellations and refunds are handled for services provided by TR Engineering. Where your signed agreement says something different, the agreement applies.

1. Consultation and site visits

  • Paid site visits, consultations, survey and soil testing fees are non-refundable once the visit or test has been carried out.
  • If you cancel at least 24 hours before a scheduled visit, the fee will be refunded in full or adjusted against a later visit.

2. Design and drawing work

Fees for drawings, designs, estimates and reports are non-refundable once work on them has started.

3. Cancellation before work starts

If you cancel a confirmed project in writing before work begins on site, we will refund the advance after deducting:

  • Costs of any materials already ordered or bought for your project.
  • Costs of design, survey, approvals or mobilisation already incurred.
  • An administrative charge, if stated in your agreement.

4. Cancellation after work starts

If a project is cancelled after work has started, you will be charged for:

  • All work completed up to the date of cancellation, measured on site.
  • Materials delivered to site or ordered for the project.
  • Labour, equipment and other costs already committed.

If the amount you have paid is more than these charges, the balance will be refunded. If it is less, the difference must be paid to us.

5. Materials

Unused materials in good condition may be returned to the supplier only where the supplier allows it. Any refund received, less handling and transport costs, will be passed on to you. Custom-made, cut or specially ordered items cannot be returned.

6. Cancellation by TR Engineering

If we are unable to start or continue your project for reasons on our side, we will refund any amount paid for work not yet carried out.

7. How refunds are paid

  • Refunds are paid by bank transfer or the original payment method.
  • Approved refunds are processed within 15 working days of the final account being settled.
  • No cash refunds are made.
